It started with a problem at home
My wife is a dental hygienist who works across three practices and like many associates she kept her days in a spreadsheet. Every practice paid a different rate and extras went in wherever they fitted, so the end of each month meant checking it all and turning it into invoices.
It worked until it didn't. One missed day or wrong rate and the numbers stopped adding up, which meant going back through everything again.
So I built her something better and soon found out that other associates, hygienists and therapists had exactly the same problem.

When you're self-employed knowing what you're owed is your job, but when it's spread across spreadsheets and notes it's easy to miss something and hard to be sure you haven't.
